Beautiful stuff, as always. Ya know I lurve you <3
Just three things, two anatomical, one technique-wise:
The two anatomy issues are sort of minor, but good to know, for technical shit. Only one sort of stands out noticed, while the other one's a mistake that even pros make 'all the time', I find it sort of amusing (when I see it on pro work), myself having issues with anatomy still haha
The noticeable thing would be his left shoulder, the one holding the shield. It should extend out more, more shoulder shown and connecting to the upper arm, from the angle that the shield's portraying. The upper arm's a bit too short.
Second's the one that I see is the one that seems to be trivial in a lot of art, even professional; the left knee, how the leg is bent. Naturally, the bulge of the calf would push the lower leg down a bit from the hamstring, forming an acute angle, not such a neat fold. Now, it shows speed, movement, so on, but isn't truly possible, unless it's being weighed down in such a position. It's trivial, as far as composition, but anatomically-say, it's not quite possible
Third's somethin that I've noticed in your work for a while, and it's minor. It fits your style, but it's just a personal thing of mine regarding using custom brushes. His beard, with the custom brush, is noticeably made using a custom brush. It does save time and whatnot, but thinkin that going back over the beard with individual strands, or more fleshing/refining of the beard would help mask the bluntness and noticeable "pattern" from the strokes of the custom brush. Everything else looks swank, but the beard and hair sort of stand out, due to this.
rofl First crit, hope I did okay. You're an inspiration to me, always have been since I'd first come across you years ago. I dunno if I ever got to say that watchin you grow has been a joy, and one of the subliminal reasons on why I still strive to improve my own works. Here's to a bright future, Das.
